What Data We Collect

We collect limited data to understand how visitors use our website and improve their experience:

  • Website analytics data (pseudonymized): IP address (last octet anonymized to .0), browser type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on site, referring website.
  • Contact form data (personal data): Name, email address, phone number, and message content. This data is collected only when you voluntarily submit a contact form.
  • Cookies: Small text files stored on your device to enable analytics and website functionality

How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

  • Analyzing website traffic and user behavior to improve our services
  • Monitoring website performance and identifying technical issues
  • Responding to your inquiries submitted through contact forms
  • We do NOT use your data for marketing purposes without explicit consent

Cookies and Tracking

We use a hybrid approach to analytics to prioritize your privacy:

  • Self-hosted analytics (Primary): Hosted at analytics.alldaydev.com. Data collected here is stored on our own servers and is NOT shared with third parties.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics: Privacy-first analytics that does not use cookies and does not track you across different websites. Used to measure overall site performance.
  • Google Analytics (Secondary): A third-party service by Google. If accepted, this service transmits usage data to Google's servers. This processing is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

You can opt out of tracking at any time using the cookie settings.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to opt out of analytics tracking
  • Right to access your personal data
  • Right to correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to request deletion of your personal data ("Right to be Forgotten")
  • Right to restrict or object to data processing
  • Right to data portability

Important Note on Analytics Data: While we mask IP addresses to protect your privacy, analytics data is technically considered personal data under GDPR (via unique identifiers like Cookie IDs). However, because we cannot identify you by name from this data alone, if you wish to exercise your rights (access/delete) regarding analytics data, you may need to provide your specific Client ID/Cookie ID so we can locate the relevant records.

How to Opt Out of Tracking

You can opt out of analytics tracking at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer and selecting "Reject Analytics."

How to Request Data Deletion

  • Analytics Data: If you wish to have your analytics history removed, please contact us. You may be asked to provide your browser's Client ID to help us locate your specific data.
  • Business Correspondence: To request the deletion of your email history and contact details from our business systems, please contact us at [email protected].

We will respond to all valid requests within 30 days.

Data Retention

We adhere to strict data retention policies:

  • Analytics data: Automatically deleted after 365 days
  • Website form logs: The raw data stored in our website's temporary database is automatically deleted 30 days after submission.
  • Business records: When you submit a form, your inquiry is transferred to our internal business systems (e.g., email, CRM) to allow us to respond to you. We retain this communication history for as long as necessary to maintain our business relationship or for legitimate legal and administrative purposes.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

  • HTTPS encryption for all website communications
  • Limited access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
  • Self-hosted analytics on secure servers under our control

Third-Party Services

We minimize third-party data sharing. The external services we use are:

  • Cloudflare: Provides security services (DDoS protection), content caching (faster page loading), and anonymous web analytics. Cloudflare processes technical data (such as IP addresses) solely to ensure service security and performance.
  • Google Analytics: Processes usage data (subject to Google's Privacy Policy)

All other infrastructure (website hosting, self-hosted analytics) is operated directly by us on our own physical servers. We do not use cloud hosting providers or colocation services. Your data remains under our direct control at all times.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
